Travel and COVID
April 2021

Steppin' Out can plan your custom trip for you! No matter where you want to go, we can plan it for you! Here is what opening up:

Europe will open to vaccinated Americans starting this summer, so countries like France, Spain, Portugal, and Germany, among others, are potential destinations for tourists. There is no information on health passports yet or if these tourists will have to quarantine upon arrival. The EU is trying to set an agreement about that.

Other countries in Europe, such as Greece, Iceland, Estonia, and Croatia, are already accepting vaccinated visitors.

Israel is reopening in May and vaccinated tourists will also be able to travel.

Most countries and islands in the Caribbean and Central America are opened to Americans, both vaccinate and not vaccinated, including Belize, Guatemala, Aruba, Bahamas, Cuba, and more.

In South America, the countries opened to vaccinated Americans are Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Colombia.

In Asia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Nepal, the Maldives, Pakistan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Singapore are open for tourists.

In a nutshell, if you want to enjoy summer in South America, you should travel between November and February, but most countries have medium to high temperatures throughout the year.
If you want to enjoy summer in Europe, you should go between May and August, but if you want to avoid crowds, go between August and October.
For Asia, you can plan your trip between November and February for most of the countries but pay attention because a lot of them have rainy seasons vs sunny seasons.
For the Caribbean and Central America, the temperatures are pretty high all year but people usually go during summer. There are bigger crowds between May and August, but also more tourist attractions are open.
