The best part of the countries we visit is the relationship we've established with the local operators who have become our friends. About This Trip

I never thought I would be so enamored with Bulgaria. It's a beautiful country sourrounded by mountains, beautiful lakes, Roman ruins (a whole city found just ten years ago when they were expanding the underground train system) and warm, gracious people who are happy to share their traditions.

Sofia is a bustling cosmopolitan city, with shops, foodie restaurants and hot springs. Go out into the rural area and learn to make traditional Bulgarian dishes or dance folklore dances. Meet hte Bulgarian Mohammedans who have preserved most of their traditions, many from the Middle Ages. Climb mountains such as the one that takes you to visit the seven Rila Lakes. Biking paths and hiking trails abound so you can get deep into the country instead of watching it pass through your vehicle's window. Check out the itinerary that we have on our website.
