Panama

Most people don't think much beyond the Panama Canal, Panama City or the beaches within. One of these dream destinations is called the San Blas archipelago. There are amazingly beautiful islands at the Panama coast. They are exactly like your dream island. Turquoise blue ocean, white sand, Palm Trees, amazing fishes and the Indians of Kuna Yala living at the island. The Kuna Yala dress up in colorful clothes, and women ware beaded bracelets on their arms and legs. Coconuts are everywhere and the snorkelling is breath taking!

Another destination is Bocas del Toro. Transparent water, beautiful little island with lush green vegetation on them, afternoon sunsets accompanied by dolphins, a beach full of seastars. Here are hotels on top of the water, on private islands and also on yachts.

I had the special opportunity to travel with the indigenous Embera who belong to the Carib culture. To get to their village we needed to take dugout canoes on small rivers.  They enjoy adorning body painting to display elements of their culture.  Some were remarkable.   Here there are also amazing hikes to the rainforest, where I learned about the mass plant life that they survive on.
