Bolivia is a surprisingly seldom explored country. There are many places to discover. The highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. It is located at the border of Peru and Bolivia. There are the floating islands where indigenous people live on islands made entirely of reeds where you can feel the water squish beneath your feet with every step. The countryside and mountains with its llama farmers is very unique. Steppin' Out has previously had a blast helping a family round up the beautiful creatures up. The indigenous people are also willing to speak of their beliefs and traditions (which include witch markets) in La Paz.
A notably special part of visiting Bolivia is the famous salt flats; the Salar de Uyuni is the largest and highest in the world. The sunrise is beautiful over the flats.
We stay at a hotel made completely out of salt -- the chairs, the dining room table, and the bed frame. It is a wacky and special experience.
